Amber Echols was born In Indianapolis, In. in the 80's. She is a wife and mother of three, plus three bonus children. Amber originally began writing as a teenager in her sophomore year. She began writing on what could have been her 1st novel, but her work was left at someone's house and it was lost. This caused Amber to take a back seat on writing.
It took Amber almost 10 years before she wrote again. Writing is now her passion and a huge part of her life. She uses writing as a way to clear her mind and express her thoughts in this noisy world. Amber began exploring new talents and performed poetry at her first open mic and loved it! She continues to bless the stage with her presence at different events so she could share her words and feelings.
When Amber isn't creating through her words: she's working, advocating for her kids and others, being with family and traveling. Amber dedicated her life to help her son for six years, fighting against Apraxia. Childhood Apraxia of speech is a neurological speech disorder that affects the brain. And in 2016 , Amber coordinated a walk to help bring awareness in the Indianapolis community which also helped other children like her son receive therapy services, ipads and more through CASANA (Childhood Apraxia of Speech for North America). Amber is also currently working on a children's book about Apraxia!
Amber enjoys different types of music; this helps her to get in her writing zone. Amber will sit outside with a glass of wine or on her favorite couch and write away! She is ready to share with the world her creativity and talents with her writing. Join her before she releases her books, during and after, also through any upcoming poetry performances and more!
